I never had the honor of meeting her, and I so wish that I did. Everyone says that my husband is so much like his beloved mama, that his sweet nature, and kind spirit come directly from her. Every time I look at a photo of her, I feel grateful for such a powerful female presence in his life, one that still lingers in our home today... in heart and thoughts and memories spoken... and what made the man I love so much, so much of who he is.

Sometimes I like to get a bit literal. Things have been busy on the work front, projects, events, so forth... so I decided to just go for it and dress as serious as I was feeling. It's funny how what you're wearing can translate into your mood. I actually got a lot done this day.

This fabulous orange red (that I'm wearing here) was one of the giveaways at the recent Molly Ringwald event I hosted, and happened to be Molly's favorite! It's a gorgeous pop of color for all skin tones. I personally can't get enough!
