I love this time of year for several reasons, but one of my most favorite things about the holidays is always having a reason to dress up! (*Note to those attending my xmas eve dinner party - yes, I will make you.)
For this particular dinner party, it was suggested that we wear pants since we would be eating with our hands and seated near to the floor. (There were belly dancers involved too... It was awesome.) So I resisted the urge to defiantly wear a cocktail number anyway, and found the most gorgeous top to take it's place.
Since the beading and detail was so intricate, I kept the hair, makeup and jewelry to a minimum. I was also surprised that while my original intent was to style it with white jeans (I adore winter white!), my dark skinnies and favorite black heels worked much better.
